September - October Forecast of Work Activities

The activities listed below are scheduled to begin and/or continue in September/October. The approximate locations and work hours for these activities are provided in Info Bulletin No. 34 (September – October 2025).
  • Reconstruction and rehabilitation of existing manholes
  • Restoration of pavement
  • Various punchlist work

Overall Project Schedule and Work Hours

The contract Notice-To-Proceed was issued to Frank V. Coluccio Construction Company on November 1, 2021, enabling the contractors to begin the various tasks required before starting construction. Crews will need to work both day and night shifts, weekends, and some holidays. Work hours will vary depending on the location of work and the type of work.

Traffic Updates for September - October

Construction work will require lane closures at several locations on Waiakamilo Rd., Dillingham Blvd., and/or Hart St. Access to driveways will be maintained.

Work along Waiakamilo Rd., Dillingham Blvd., and Hart St. will occur during overnight hours.

  • Detours for Overnight Work on Hart Street
    7:00 pm to 4:00 am, Sunday Nights through Friday Mornings
    Hart St., between Waiakamilo Rd. and Libby St., will be closed during work on Hart St. Entry into this segment of Hart St. will be provided for LOCAL BUSINESS ACCESS ONLY. Drivers will be detoured via Nimitz Hwy., Kalani St., and Kalihi St.

  • Detours for Overnight Work on Hart Street
    7:00 pm to 4:00 am, Monday Night to Saturday Morning
    All left turn movements will be prohibited during work within the intersection of Waiakamilo Rd. and Dillingham Blvd. Drivers affected by this closure will be detoured via Kohou St., Kaumualii St., McNeill St., and/or Kalani St.
